The Gospel of Jesus Christ
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). Sin has separated us from God, and no matter how good we try to be, we can never save ourselves. The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord (Romans 6:23).
But God, in His great love for us, did not leave us in our sin. Over 2,000 years ago, He sent His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to live a sinless life and to take the punishment we deserved. The Bible declares, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us” (Romans 5:8). Jesus was beaten, nailed to a cross, and shed His precious blood to pay the penalty for our sins. He was buried, but on the third day, He rose again with all power in His hands! Death could not hold Him, the grave could not keep Him, and because He lives, we too can have eternal life!
Now, He offers you salvation—not by works, not by religion, but by faith in Him alone. “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved” (Romans 10:9). This is the good news of the Gospel!
An Invitation to Be Saved
My friend, Jesus is calling you today. You don’t have to remain in your sin. You don’t have to live in fear, guilt, or hopelessness. The price has already been paid, and salvation is freely given to all who will receive it. No matter what you’ve done, no matter how far you think you’ve fallen, the blood of Jesus can wash you clean!
Will you come to Him today? Right now, wherever you are, you can be saved. Pray this prayer from your heart:
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I am a sinner in need of Your grace. I believe that You died for my sins and rose again on the third day. I repent of my sins and ask You to come into my heart. Be my Lord and Savior. I surrender my life to You. Thank You for saving me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
